Dr. Kinsey Pillsbury attended the University of Georgia where she earned a B.S. with High Honors in Mathematics with a minor in Physics. She was a full scholarship collegiate gymnast after having also been a U.S. National team member. While at Georgia, she earned Academic All-American status from 2000-2004 and was a member of two SEC championship teams.

 

Dr. Pillsbury completed her radiology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas 

servicing Parkland hospital. Following residency, she was chosen to stay on for an additional year of fellowship training in Breast Imaging.

In her free time, Dr. Pillsbury enjoys being active around the lake including snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, boating and taking her kids to the beach. Her husband Ed is also a radiologist at Tahoe Carson Radiology and together they have four children - Kate 10, Jake 8, Harrison 6, and baby Claire 2 - the younger two were born here at Carson Tahoe Hospital.  Recently Kinsey’s parents, sister, and two nieces all relocated to Carson City and are all now proud to call themselves northern Nevadans!
