Zachary Franks, DO was born in Toledo, OH, and raised near Metro Detroit, MI.

 

He performed his undergraduate education at Grand Valley State University near Grand Rapids, MI with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Biomedical Sciences. He then attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and performed his medical residency through the college at Beaumont Health Farmington Hills.

 

Dr. Franks then moved to California and completed his fellowship training at Stanford Healthcare in Stanford, CA in a clinical fellowship in Body MRI. Dr. Franks is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. His special interests include prostate MR, whole body MR, and PET/MR, including Body MR specific exams such as pelvic floor imaging, gynecology/oncology imaging, and other abdominopelvic MR protocols. Dr. Franks lives with his wife, 2 dogs and a cat and enjoys several outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, skiing, and camping.
