In addition to his general radiology practice, Dr. Turner’s interests lie in evaluating adult and pediatric patients with acquired and developmental disorders of the brain and spine by applying his expertise in advanced CT and MR imaging techniques including diffusion, perfusion, angiography, spectroscopy, and PETCT.  He is proficient in a variety of interventional radiology and pain management procedures including spinal and joint steroid injections, fracture augmentations (kyphoplasty), epidural blood patches, and image-guided biopsies.

Along with colleague Dr. Stephen Loos, he developed the first comprehensive Multiparametric MR Prostate Cancer Screening and MR-guided Prostate Biopsy Program in Northern Nevada for Tahoe Carson Radiology.

Dr. Turner is a proud member of Tahoe Carson Radiology but feels his greatest achievement is his marriage and being a father of three children.  He spends much of his free time enjoying the beautiful Tahoe Basin, exercising, playing golf, scuba diving, traveling, and enjoying finer foods.
