Dr. John Kuipers, DO, is a board-certified radiologist specializing in diagnostic radiology with advanced training and expertise in neuroradiology. He is proud to be a member of the team at Tahoe Carson Radiology, where he provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients throughout Carson City and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Kuipers earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from West Virginia in 2019. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle. Dr. Kuipers is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is dedicated to delivering accurate, timely, and patient-centered imaging interpretations, with a particular focus on neuroimaging.
Dr. Kuipers’s professional interests include neuroradiology, advanced imaging techniques, quality improvement initiatives, and the integration of emerging technologies to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
Originally from Quincy, California, Dr. Kuipers has deep roots in the Sierra Nevada region and has been skiing in the Lake Tahoe area for his entire life. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, landscaping, and taking advantage of the year-round activities that make Northern Nevada and the Tahoe region such special places to live and work.
